“Super happy for the CityU iGEM Team on winning Gold at iGEM Competition 2024!
Not surprised to receive a message sharing that, under the leadership of Prof. Maria (Masha) Babak, PhD, they achieved a Gold Medal, the Best Education Special Prize, and nominations for Best Therapeutic Village Project and Best Presentation.
It was my pleasure to share insights on their BEVATECH project—a rapid, affordable test for detecting counterfeit Bevacizumab, ensuring cancer patients have access to REAL drug. Proud to see these brilliant minds making a difference!”
