The Role of Lifestyle Modification in Enhancing Cancer Therapy Outcomes
Akash Maniam, Medical oncologist at Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust, shared on Linkedin:
”Quite a fascinating study. While aerobic exercise during chemotherapy didn’t substantially change objective cognitive function during chemotherapy, it did help subjectively.
I think this also establishes healthy lifestyle patterns, which would help even more during the years of subsequent adjuvant endocrine therapy many of these patients would undergo.
More work in this space is definitely warranted – lifestyle modification across the spectrum of systemic anti-cancer therapy.”
