Sahar Mansour: Breast Cancer Screening AI and Multimodalities
Sahar Mansour, Professor of Radiology, Women’s imaging unit, Kasr El Ainy Hospital, Cairo University, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Since 2022, Cairo University (جامعة القاهرة) Women’s imaging unit, Radiology teams have been conducting workshops in collaboration with Baheya Foundation Center for Early Breast Cancer Detection and Treatment, focusing on the integration of AI in mammogram reading. These workshops aim to enhance the capabilities of young doctors, equipping them with the skills to seamlessly merge technological advancements with scientific expertise.
Throughout these sessions, we have emphasized the importance of balancing artificial intelligence with emotional intelligence, ensuring that doctors not only practice reading mammogram using AI or utilize AI to select the appropriate complementary imaging modalities without wasting resources but also maintain a strong patient care focus.
By combining radiologic, clinical, and applied radiology data, we strive to maximize patient benefits.
I am thrilled to announce our upcoming workshop, “Breast Cancer Screening AI and Multimodalities”,
