Mohit Manrao: Bridging the gap between academic learning and real-world industry application

“GIVE BACK DAY – Bridging the gap between academic learning and real-world industry application.
This week AstraZeneca welcomed post-grad students from eight local universities at our Gaithersburg Campus, giving over 70 students the opportunity to gain real-world experience to supplement their studies. Students participated in a variety of workshops, including speed networking, landing the job, the business of pharma and more.
This event marked a significant step towards our health equity and IandD goals. AstraZeneca’s commitment to nurturing a diverse talent pool is essential. By tapping into our community and providing these opportunities, AstraZeneca is not only supporting the development of future leaders but also ensuring that our workforce reflects the diversity of the communities we both work within and serve.
Let’s continue our efforts to foster an inclusive and equitable environment, particularly for underserved and underrepresented populations. Thank you to Laverah Olukune, Épiphanie Yohou and the entire planning committee for the first of many events of its kind!”
“What a fantastic idea. Well done Mohit Manrao and AstraZeneca!!”
