Congratulations to Salil Garg and Xiaolei Su for receiving the NIH grant – Yale Cancer Center

“Congratulations to Yale Cancer Center members, Dr. Salil Garg and Dr. Xiaolei Su, both recipients of a grant from NIH High-Risk, High-Reward (HRHR) Research Program.”
Salil Garg is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Laboratory Medicine at Yale University School of Medicine. His research focuses on the processes that drive heterogeneity in development and cancer. Before joining Yale, he was a Clinical Investigator at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
Xiaolei Su is an Assistant Professor at Yale University School of Medicine, where he established his research group in 2018. His work focuses on membrane remodeling and receptor signaling in immune responses, using biochemical reconstitution, live cell imaging, and animal models. His team develops CAR T cells with novel functions to target blood, skin, colon, breast, and brain cancers.
