Prof. Françoise Meunier is active on LinkedIn, where she shares her insights and expertise in cancer science and policy. As a member of the science policy committee at the European Academy of Cancer Sciences, she plays a vital role in shaping cancer research initiatives across Europe. Previously, she served as the Director-General of the European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer from 1991 to 2015.

About Françoise Meunier
Prof. Meunier has received numerous accolades for her contributions to the field, including the Belgian Laureate Prix Femmes d’Europe (2004-2005) and the title of Baroness conferred by His Majesty, King Albert II of Belgium in 2007. She was honored with the Pezcoller Foundation Award in 2009 and became a Fellow of the European Academy of Cancer Sciences in 2011.
In 2015, she was appointed Chair of the Accreditation Council of Oncology in Europe and became a member of the Alliance for Biomedical Research in Europe. Additionally, she has been a member of the Belgian Royal Academy of Medicine since 2006.
