Sami Mansfield: The health of the body should be talked about in verbs, not nouns
Sami (Papacek) Mansfield shared a post by John Hennessy, Principal at Valuate Health Consultancy, on LinkedIn, adding the following:
“Excellent post highlighting quality of life – it’s so often the things that we can’t measure but are feelings and verbs. Recently, I heard an amazing statement on the Andrew Huberman podcast, sharing that the health of the body should be talked about in verbs, not nouns.”
Quoting John Hennessy’s post:
“Day 4 of 12…my top posters from ASCOQLTY24. The meaning of ‘A Good Day’ for persons living with cancer. Worth noting the meaning of a ‘bad day’ as well. Are we delivering enough of the former? Do we underestimate the impact of the latter?”
