”Treatment abandonment is the principal cause of cancer treatment failure in low income countries, and this ocurrs not because the parents “want” to leave their child “without treatment”. This ocurrs, because we have failed as a society…and we – far away for their realities – (need for food, no cash, transport to the hospital) prefer to look to the other way. Zero Abandonment.
