Dr. Bhawna Sirohi is a respected medical oncologist and the Director of Medical Oncology at BALCO Medical Centre in Nava Raipur, India. With extensive experience as a consultant medical oncologist since 2008, she specializes in breast and gastrointestinal cancers as well as acute oncology, drawing from her previous role at The Barts Health NHS Trust in London.
An accomplished author, Dr. Sirohi has edited three influential books on cancer, including Cancer: Questions Answered, Chemotherapy in GI Cancers, and Modern GI Oncology. Her editorial leadership extends to her role as the past editor-in-chief of the Indian Journal of Medical and Paediatric Oncology. Additionally, she served as the 2018-2019 President of the Oncology Section of the Royal Society of Medicine.
As the Founder President of the New India Cancer Charity Initiative, Dr. Sirohi has been instrumental in promoting clinical screenings for breast, cervical, and head and neck cancers in rural India, striving to improve cancer awareness and early detection in underserved communities.
