“Today, 235 million people are in need of humanitarian assistance worldwide. By 2050, there could be 1.2 billion climate refugees. I was pleased to visit Bioforce while in Dakar, a leading provider of humanitarian aid training. Thank you Yann Yves G. Dutertre for the visit, together with Benoit Miribel, and the open conversation on today’s humanitarian emergencies and what can be done to overcome some of the complex challenges in Africa and beyond.
Localizing training and planning for tomorrow’s health crises are critical.”
