Cristiane Bergerot is the Director of the Department of Psycho-Oncology at CETTRO Cancer Research Hospital in Brasilia, Brazil. She has been working with cancer patients for almost 15 years as a clinician and as a researcher.
She has over 30 peer-reviewed publications in journals including first-author publications in Cancer, Journal of Immunotherapy for Cancer, British Journal of Urology International and Pscyhooncology.
She has received four merit awards from the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Conquer Cancer Foundation and was selected for the SWOG Young Investigator Course.
Matteo Lambertini is an adjunct professor and consultant in medical oncology at the IRCCS Policlinico San Martino Hospital and the University of Genova in Italy. He specializes in managing breast cancer in young women, particularly addressing fertility and pregnancy-related issues post-diagnosis.
Lambertini’s notable research includes using GnRH agonists during chemotherapy to preserve ovarian function and studying the safety of pregnancy after breast cancer. He also serves on the scientific boards of ESMO, ESHRE, and AIOM for fertility preservation in cancer patients.
