Zainab Shinkafi-Bagudu on why women make great leaders

Zainab Shinkafi-Bagudu posted the following on LinkedIn:

“A hug is a form of endearment, in which two or more people hold each other closely. If more than two people are involved, it may be referred to as a group hug.

Women are huggers. I am a hugger. We love to hug. It reflects our underlying warmth, protectiveness and ability to bring everyone together.

This is why women make great leaders when given the chance. We lead with compassion and intelligence, with our wits around us, whilst multitasking so many other roles at the same time.

Have you hugged anyone today?”
