”In my lifetime, the survival rates for breast cancer have improved dramatically. Much of this progress is attributable to efforts that have increased screening and improved access to care. While we celebrate this progress, much more remains to be done to address the disparities that exist by race and ethnicity.
The American Cancer Society, through their Men Wear Pink fundraising effort, has pumped over $40M into efforts that seek to close gaps in access and improve outcomes for the underserved, which aligns tightly with our mission at Fox Chase.
