Mark Lewis: Observations from my annual dose of empathy

Mark Lewis shared a post on X:

“Observations from my annual dose of empathy.

1) Warm blankets is equal to a great patient experience.

2) LIFE HACK: in an MRI machine email *literally* can’t find you.

3) ‘Scanxiety’ is real but.

4) one of the most beautiful words in the English language might be ‘stable’ in a scan report.

(Yearly since my Whipple I get an MRI scan to ensure what remains of my pancreas is behaving and that I haven’t developed metastases to my liver So far, so good … Due to my mutation I’ll always have neuroendocrine tumors but this should keep me in practice well into 2025.”
