“As an oncologist dedicated to improving breast cancer care in Ethiopia, I am honored to have been part of the team that developed the country’s first-ever national breast cancer guideline. This landmark achievement represents a significant step forward in providing standardized, evidence-based care for breast cancer patients across the nation.
The collaborative effort of clinicians, researchers, and policymakers to create this comprehensive guideline is a testament to the collective commitment to advancing cancer management and ensuring equitable access to high-quality services.
As I continue my work treating breast cancer patients, I am grateful for the opportunity to contribute to this critical initiative, which will empower healthcare providers, strengthen the healthcare system, and ultimately enhance the lives of those affected by this disease. I extend my sincere appreciation to all the organizers and participants who have made this guideline a reality, a true milestone in Ethiopia’s journey towards improving breast cancer outcomes.”
