”To support the life-saving work the World Health Organization does, we need more resources. A key part of my job is to find new ways of financing.
This week we hosted the first consultation with Member States for one of our flagship upcoming initiatives: the first ever WHO investment round.
We were able to share many elements of our plan after a sprint over the summer. This process has been possible thanks to teamwork. I want to thank my colleagues for their work and ideas.
Now I’m heading to the United Nations General Assembly to keep rallying support, and strengthening key alliances. I will keep you posted from UNGA.”
