Sakditad Saowapa: New study reveals a significant decrease in burnout among oncology fellows
Sakditad Saowapa, Resident Physician at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, shared a post on X about a paper by Caroline Schenkel et al. published in JCO Oncology Practice:
“New study from JCO Oncology Practice reveals a significant decrease in burnout among oncology fellows over the last decade! From 34% in 2013 to 20% in 2023.
Satisfaction with work-life integration also up to 50% from 34%.
A must-read for incoming and current hemonc fellows to understand the evolving landscape of oncology training.”
