Spotlight on Maite Bourlon

Dr. Maite Bourlon is an Associate Professor and Head of the Urologic Oncology Clinic at Instituto Nacional de Ciencias Médicas y Nutrición Salvador Zubirán and the Director of the Genitourinary Cancers Program at Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. She also serves as Chair of the ASCO IDEA Steering Group, contributing to international initiatives to advance genitourinary oncology research and care.

At the Global Voices in Renal Oncology (VIRO) Virtual Congress 2025, Dr. Bourlon will participate in the Panel Discussion: Case-Based Approach to SRM Management and present on “Small Renal Masses and Focal Approaches.” Her session will explore practical strategies for managing small renal tumors with precision and minimizing treatment-related morbidity.
