Spotlight on Aristotelis Bamias
Prof. Aristotelis Bamias is a Professor of Internal Medicine-Oncology at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and a Practicing Medical Oncologist at the 2nd Propaedeutic Department of Internal Medicine, ATTIKON University Hospital in Athens. Prof. Bamias’s main research focus in oncology is urogenital and gynaecological tumours.
At the Global Voices in Renal Oncology (VIRO) Virtual Congress 2025, Prof. Bamias will present on “The Current State of Renal Oncology in Greece.” His presentation will cover:
- The evolving landscape of renal cancer diagnosis and treatment in Greece.
- Challenges and advancements within the Greek healthcare system regarding renal oncology.
- Insights from local clinical practices and research initiatives shaping patient care.
