The results from her PhD thesis work has so far given us a better understanding of implementation of SLN for Endometrial Cancer in Helse Sør-Øst RHF related to diagnostic precision, health economics and importantly on quality of life and patient reported outcomes.
She has also greatly contributed to and facilitated international multicenter studies.
Receiving this grant will contribute to further clinical and basic science research as well as international collaboration. Excited for her upcoming move to NYC to take on a surgical fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center
Congratulations also to Cecilie Fredvik Torkildsen. The Norwegian Gynecological Oncology community is excited to follow your work in Heidelberg and to welcome you back home in two years.”
