“Reflecting on Another Impactful Outreach at Baptist High School, Jos, Nigeria.
On Monday, May 13th, I had the privilege of returning to Baptist High School, Jos as part of our ongoing ‘Adopt a School NCDs Project’. It was another enriching experience connecting with the students and raising awareness about non-communicable diseases (NCDs).
Being back at Baptist High School reaffirmed my commitment to empowering young minds with essential health information. The enthusiasm and engagement from the students were truly inspiring, reminding me of the importance of grassroots initiatives in driving positive change.
Our discussions centered on the significance of leading a healthy lifestyle and the preventive measures against NCDs. It was heartening to witness the students’ eagerness to learn and their genuine interest in promoting health within their communities.
I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to lead this initiative and work towards eliminating NCDs, through engaging secondary school students. The support from the school management and the dedication of my team made this outreach a success, and I am incredibly proud of what we have achieved together.
As we continue our journey with the ‘Adopt a School NCDs Project’, I am filled with optimism about the impact we can create in shaping a healthier future for generations to come. We’ll keep striving to make a difference, one school at a time!”
