“The book ‘When Trees Bloom… Overcoming the Path of Treatment’ is one year old!
It was published on the initiative of the psychosocial service of the Pediatric Cancer and Blood Disorders Center of Armenia, Yeolyan Hematology and Oncology Center, Ministry of Health of Armenia.
The book summarizes the stories of patients who have overcome cancer, which successfully serves its purpose, that is to support patients and their family members going through the path of cancer treatment.
The book was authored by clinical psychologist Alisa Kamalyan and radiation oncologist Sergey Mkhitaryan, as well as heroes who overcame cancer and their parents.
‘One rejoices when seeing so many healed children. Next will be the story of our victory’ says one of the mothers after reading the book.
The book was published with the support of the City of Smile Charitable Foundation, and all the proceeds from the sale within a year were directed to the treatment in Armenia of the beneficiaries of the Foundation, our patients.”
