Michael Ziener: NFL and ACS Join Forces to Expand Cancer Screening Access
Michael Ziener, Vice President for Illinois at American Cancer Society, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Great day at the Chicago Bears Training Camp with our colleagues and friends from Advocate Health Care and Advocate Christ Medical Center! The National Football League (NFL) Crucial Catch program is a year-round initiative in partnership with the American Cancer Society to educate fans on the importance of taking their health into their own hands.
The program provides funding, education, and support for crucial cancer screenings, especially in underserved communities. They fund $30K to focus on Lung Cancer screenings with Advocate Christ Medical Center. They do this across the country in partnership with ACS and local healthcare systems.”
