Margaret Foti: The Possible Results of the NIH Funding Cuts
Margaret Foti, CEO at American Association for Cancer Research, shared AACR’s post on X, adding:
“Any cuts to the NIH budget would stifle innovation and erode the nation’s position as the global leader in biomedical research.
I encourage all of our members and colleagues in the U.S. to ask their representatives to protect NIH funding.”
Quoting AACR‘s post:
“A report from the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office found that proposed NIH cuts could significantly lower the number of new drugs that come to market in the next three decades.
Call on Congress to reject the President’s FY26 budget and NIH Funding.”
