“Every year, 400,000 children are diagnosed with cancer worldwide, but survival rates vary drastically between high- and low-income countries.

In high-income countries, survival rates exceed 80%, while in low-income countries this figure can fall below 30%. This disparity is driven by factors such as limited awareness among healthcare professionals, a lack of access to treatment and under-resourced healthcare infrastructure.

Led by Divya Sachdev, World Child Cancer USA is working relentlessly to close this survival gap. Its approach includes:

Focusing on early diagnosis
Providing financial and emotional support to families
Improving the quality of care for children in underserved regions
