Jennifer Bires: Sexual health series for women who have been impacted by cancer by Inova
Jennifer Bires, Executive Director, of Life with Cancer and Patient Experience at Inova Schar Cancer Institute, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“We have an awesome free sexual health series coming up in the new year for women who have been impacted by cancer.
It’s designed for patients but would be great information for clinicians who want to get more comfortable in this space.
A woman I met with today told me that the sexual health side effects from her breast cancer treatment have been worse than the chemo, and no one will talk to her about it.
We have to do better.
