Vincent Rajkumar, Professor of Medicine at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, shared a post by Eric Feigl-Ding, Faculty, Chair of Public Health, Chief of COVID Task Force at New England Complex Systems Institute, on X, adding:
“One of the most important advances in medicine.
With a pandemic in full effect, the world in chaos, it is remarkable that multiple effective vaccines were developed and deployed globally so quickly. Covid is still around. But thanks to vaccine induced immunity and post infection immunity, it is far less dangerous.”

Vincent Rajkumar is a Professor of Medicine at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, and Chair for the Mayo Clinic Myeloma, Amyloidosis, and Dysproteinemia Group. He also chairs the Board of directors of The International Myeloma Foundation and the Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group (ECOG) Myeloma Committee.
