“We are thrilled to announce that Dr. Paula D. Bos will receive the Distinguished Scientist Award at the 2024 AACI/CCAF Annual Meeting!
Dr. Bos, an associate professor of pathology at VCU Massey Comprehensive Cancer Center, is recognized for her groundbreaking research on tumor-promoting mechanisms by regulatory Treg cells. Her innovative work could lead to new adoptive transfer therapeutics for breast cancer.

Robert A. Winn, M.D., is the Director and Lipman Chair in Oncology at VCU Massey Comprehensive Cancer Center and a professor at VCU School of Medicine. Winn oversees nearly 150 scientists and clinical investigators and is nationally recognized for his community engagement efforts. He manages a research lab focusing on lung cancer and health disparities, supported by NIH and Veterans Affairs Merit awards. Previously, he directed the University of Illinois Cancer Center and held various leadership roles at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center.
