Jaume Masià: A true jewel of Central Asia that is unknown to many people

Jaume Masià, Director of the Advanced Breast Reconstructive Service and the Integrated Lymphoedema Treatment Unit in Clínica Planas, shared on Facebook:

“Last week we had the pleasure of visiting a wonderful country.. Armenia!

Together with Dr Pons and Dr Pomata, with whom I have the privilege of working for many years, we were visiting and discussing complex cases of breast reconstruction, we also operated several patients with the DIEP technique at the Yerevan Cancer Hospital.

This is the most effective way to share our experience and encourage young surgeons to get started on more complex surgical techniques that are hardly done in that part of the world.

I want to congratulate Dr Mher Kostanyan for the invitation and for the excellent team of professionals surrounding him. I also want to highlight the beauty and hospitality of the Armenian people. A true jewel of Central Asia that is unknown to many people.”
