“Together, we can give children like Mia a lifetime of summers. Mia was diagnosed with a rare soft tissue cancer at age 5. Fortunately, Mia’s treatment team included Conquer Cancer-funded researcher Dr. Jessica Lake, who helped Mia and her family get through the challenges of childhood cancer until they finally got the news they’d been waiting for, 11 months later: She was cancer-free! As of May 2024, Mia continues to show ‘no evidence of disease.’
