Zainab Shinkafi-Bagudu: HPV vaccine now part of routine immunizations across the Nigeria
Zainab Shinkafi-Bagudu shared on X:
“After successfully vaccinating 5.3M girls in 15 states including the Federal Capital Territory(FCT) in Phase I, Phase II which began in May 2024 has already protected 7M girls in 21 states and counting.
With the HPV vaccine now part of routine immunizations across the country, Nigeria aims to immunize around 16 million girls by 2025.
Let’s ensure every woman, especially our young girls aged 9-14, gets vaccinated to protect them from HPV-related diseases.”
