NHS like many health systems is struggling to identify spare capacity for managing cancer treatment backlogs – Ajay Aggarwal

Quoting Ajay Aggarwal on LinkedIn, “The NHS like many health systems is struggling to identify spare capacity for managing cancer treatment backlogs. Our work provides a method using health data of establishing where spare capacity could be localised based on treatment referral patterns and existing hospital work load. We show this for breast and bowel cancer surgery but the methods can be used across a range of cancer surgeries.”
