Mishka Kohli Cira: Breast cancer early detection projects awarded grants by UICC

Mishka Kohli Cira, Public Health Advisor at the Center for Global Health, National Cancer Institute (NCI), recently shared on LinkedIn:

“As we close out the 1st National Cancer Prevention and Early Detection Month, I want to highlight this group of breast cancer early detection projects awarded grants by the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC) in 2022.

UICC held a wrap-up meeting last week for the teams, and we heard about some of the challenges but mostly the innovative, inclusive approaches and solutions they have designed with and within their communities.

It was fun to reflect back on the opportunity to serve on the review committee for these grants alongside a panel of esteemed colleagues from around the world, convened by UICC. Wishing these teams continued success.”
