Quoting from a recent LinkedIn post by Stacey Tinianov:
“Excited to announce that Advocates for Collaborative Education is conducting quality-of-life research with our first IRB-approved (exempt) study! The online, anonymous survey is now open to all individuals with a history or diagnosis of cancer. (IRB ID: 2023-0256)
While cancer treatments have advanced considerably since the advent and availability of targeted therapies, significant short and long-term treatment side effects can be challenging or even devastating to an individual’s quality of life. This anonymous survey attempts to quantify the quality of life impacts across a large sampling of individuals with a diagnosis or history of cancer. The goal is to provide data and analysis that will inform research, clinical care, and the cancer community on what matters most to individuals and potentially how to best address quality of life impacts through supportive care.”
