Hinco J. Gierman: It underscores the importance of rapid testing and getting patients on the right treatment.
As stated by Hinco J. Gierman, Vice President of Precision Oncology, on LinkedIn:
“We published today an important paper showing that when cancer patients get treated with drugs matching their genetic test, they have better Overall Survival than those patients who get put on the wrong treatment prior to having their (actionable) test results. It underscores the importance of rapid testing and getting patients on the right treatment. Great collaboration with my former colleagues from Integra Connect, University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, Thermo Fisher, Florida Cancer Specialists, Regina Elena, University of Toledo and Harvard.”
