“Dealing with the needs, worries, and suffering of others every day changes you, offers you a different perspective, and allows you to experience firsthand powerful emotions, sometimes terrible, sometimes beautiful. These emotions are not only personal, but shared with the entire team of doctors, nurses, and healthcare assistants who, every day, silently, always with a smile, work for those who are most vulnerable and in need: our patients. My most sincere thanks go to all our patients and their families, to the entire team at the San Pio Medical Oncology Department in Benevento, and especially to our General Director, Dr. Maria Morgante.”
