Miranda Reid Awarded NCI F30 Fellowship for Work on Lung Cancer Screening Access
Miranda Reid, Graduate Student Research Assistant at Health Outcomes and Biomedical Informatics, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“I’m very grateful to have recently been awarded an F30 Fellowship from the National Cancer Institute! This award will support my dissertation work, where I’m partnering with the UF Health Cancer Center to help reduce barriers to lung cancer screening. I’m excited to see the impact we can have on improving access and raising awareness of this important step in addressing lung cancer mortality. None of this would be possible without the incredible mentorship I’ve received from faculty at Health Outcomes and Biomedical Informatics, and especially the support of my primary mentor, Dr. Ramzi Salloum.”
UF Health Cancer Center shared Miranda Reid‘s post, adding:
“Congratulations, Miranda!”
