Eric So: Turning an Idea Into Regional Lung Cancer Policy
Eric So, Associate Director of Public Policy and Government Relations at MSD, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“2.5 years is actually the time it took for an idea scribbled on a piece of paper to the founding of a coalition, initially with 8 lung cancer experts, to gather 35 more experts and advocates to develop a regional policy consensus and eventually presented to the APEC Health Working Group HWG at Senior Offical Meeting 3 (SOM3).
Never had prouder moment than this to work along side with many passionate experts, advocates and as the son of a lung cancer survivor! Thank you all who have collaborated with me to make this happen! Its been a great learning journey with you all. We made it!”
