10-year Anniversary Video of the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences
St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital shared a post on LinkedIn:
“At St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences, personalized training and close collaboration with scientific experts lay the foundation for impactful careers. Caitlin Zebley demonstrates how mentorship and collaboration can shape scientists and spark innovation.
After completing her clinical fellowship, Zebley joined the laboratory of Benjamin Youngblood, PhD, in the Department of Immunology at St. Jude. She transitioned from a clinician to a scientist while earning her doctorate through the Biomedical Sciences PhD program.
Now, as a faculty leader, Zebley is advancing T cell-based immunotherapy for pediatric patients while guiding the next generation of researchers. What began as mentorship evolved into a collaborative partnership that empowered her to contribute to groundbreaking research and launch her own clinical trial.
Over the past 10 years, alumni scientists like Zebley have received mentorship and hands-on experience, preparing them to excel in scientific fields. St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences continues to lead and inspire the next generation of researchers, carrying forward the mission of St. Jude.
Watch the 10-year anniversary video on the St. Jude YouTube channel to hear reflections from leadership, faculty, alumni like Zebley, and other students.”
