Amer Zeidan: Proud that Jordan Has Direct Access to Top-quality and Affordable Cancer Care
Amer Zeidan, Chief of the Division of Hematologic Malignancies and Professor of Medicine at Yale University, shared a post on X by Ghida Talal, Chairperson of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation and Center, adding:
“Very proud that Jordan is one of the few source-limited countries where most citizens have direct access to top-quality and affordable cancer care at The King Hussein Cancer Foundation, and largely due to the lifelong commitment of HRH Princess Ghida Talal and KHCC leadership to better lives of cancer patients.”
Quoting Ghida Talal’s post:
“This agreement is the result of more than 20 years of effort to reach this stage of cancer patient insurance, and we appreciate the government, especially its Prime Minister, Dr. Jaafar Hassan, for this major achievement, which will cover more than 4 million Jordanians.”
