“Participating in the 17th CCI and SIOP Asia Riyadh 2025 Conference as a board member and MAHAK representative has been another significant step forward in strengthening regional collaboration and advancing childhood cancer care!
It’s been an honor for me to deliver a speech and moderate the panel. This year’s conference theme, ‘Together for Tomorrow – Empowering the Childhood Cancer Community,’ reflected the collective vision for improving outcomes across Asia.
The introduction of Education Day, hands-on workshops on interesting topics, and essential discussions during the Asia Regional Committee meeting and working groups , all set the stage for future partnerships and breakthroughs that will shape ongoing efforts. It was incredible to see potential in the middle east, and such fruitful communications we made!
My Gratitude goes to the SIOP Asia organizers Hiba Al-Tarrah and her team, for hosting such a transformative event. It was a great pleasure to meet and have impactful discussions with distinguished professionals and attend a wonderful formal dinner hosted by Her Royal Highness Princess Adila bint Abdullah Al Saud, with the CCI board.
This trip has solidified our commitment to empower children with cancer and driving impactful changes in the health industry and supportive services in the region.
