The importance of curiosity-driven research in advancing medical breakthroughs – EACR
European Association for Cancer Research (EACR) shared a post on LinkedIn:
“As part of the EACR’s Keep Research Curious campaign we recently hosted a panel with four expert guests to discuss the importance of curiosity-driven research in advancing medical breakthroughs.
In this video, Dr Helen Rippon (Worldwide Cancer Research, UK), Prof Alberto Bardelli (IFOM, Italy), Dr Sophie Postel-Vinay (Gustave Roussy, France), and Dr Matheus Dias (The Netherlands Cancer Institute, Netherlands) discuss their favourite examples of how basic research has impacted cancer science, how they make space for curiosity in their own organisations, and the future of funding for basic research.”
