But what if you’ve never seen breast cancer that looks like you?
For too many women in ethnic communities, breast cancer still feels like someone else’s story.
And by the time it doesn’t… it’s often too late.
In the next episode, you’ll hear from a woman who’s changing that. Dr Olubukola Ayodele runs a UK breast unit. She’s Black. She’s tired of women being diagnosed too late because no one told them what to look for on their skin.
This is not a story about cancer. It’s about visibility. About what happens when awareness doesn’t work for all communities. And it’s about what we can do – together – to fix that.
