“The Cancer Workforce crisis is aggravating disparities in cancer care.
Burnout, low satisfaction, and poor support are common – but some groups face even greater challenges. Cancer professionals in Central and Eastern Europe report worse metrics in burnout and work satisfaction.
Women in oncology face persistent gender gaps in pay, career progression, and support. But action is underway: The European Cancer Community Foundation is funding solutions and calling for workplace policies that prioritise equity and support.
