Zainab Shinkafi-Bagudu, UICC President-Elect of 2024-2026, shared a post on X:

“Last week, I joined a webinar hosted by the Africa CDC to mark IWD2025 and launch the official roadmap to eliminate cervical cancer in Africa by 2030.

Congratulations on this milestone!

I also congratulate my Rwandan colleagues for the mission 2027 goal, hoping that the rest of Africa will follow suit.”
