Erin Andrews teams up with AstraZeneca on “Get Body Checked Against Cancer” campaign
AstraZeneca’s “Get Body Checked Against Cancer“ campaign uses the influence of sports to raise awareness about cancer prevention and early detection. With routine screenings playing a critical role in saving lives, the initiative encourages fans to prioritize their health just as athletes prioritize their performance.
By partnering with voices like Erin Andrews, a cervical cancer survivor and sports broadcaster, the campaign aims to make cancer education more accessible and encourage more people to take proactive steps toward early detection.
This initiative is part of a broader effort to support cancer research, community outreach, and patient advocacy. Through collaborations and awareness campaigns, it seeks to improve screening rates and health outcomes for those at risk of cancer.
Mohit Manrao, SVP and Head of US Oncology at AstraZeneca, recently announced the partnership with Erin Andrews for the “Get Body Checked Against Cancer” campaign:
“Celebrity and cancer survivor Erin Andrews teams up with us on ‘Get Body Checked Against Cancer’ campaign.
At AstraZeneca, we know that early detection can make all the difference in the fight against cancer. We are thrilled to announce our partnership with Erin Andrews, Sports Broadcaster, Entrepreneur and Cervical Cancer survivor.
Together we aim to educate and empower people to ‘Get Body Checked Against Cancer.’
After being diagnosed in 2016, Erin has become a passionate advocate for routine cancer screenings. AstraZeneca is also collaborating with Erin to launch SCREEN, a limited-edition t-shirt under her popular WEAR by EA brand. The goal is to inspire people to talk to their doctors about routine cancer screenings.
The t-shirt is available starting today at NHLShop.com and the NHL Flagship Store in NYC, while supplies last. SCREEN proceeds will go to the V Foundation’s Hockey Fights Cancer Fund to support game-changing cancer research projects.
To date, we’ve already donated $500,000 to the V Foundation through our NHL Hat Trick Challenge sponsorship.
We play to win. Let’s fight cancer together.”
