Patrick Hwu, President and CEO of Moffitt Cancer Center, shared a post on LinkedIn about a paper
“Can a common pain reliever help fight cancer?
Aspirin is known for its heart health benefits, but new research suggests it might also help in reducing cancer metastasis.
In this study, researchers found low-dose aspirin (75–300 mg) inhibits platelet TXA₂, a key factor in cancer spread.
This highlights aspirin’s potential role in cancer prevention and could pave the way for new therapeutic strategies.”
