Amy C. Moore steps down as VP of Global Engagement at LUNGevity Foundation

Amy C. Moore, Former Vice President of Global Engagement and Patient Partnerships at LUNGevity Foundation, shared a post on LinkedIn:

“Friends, I must share some personal news. After four years with LUNGevity Foundation, my last day with the organization will be this coming Friday, March 14.

I have accepted a new opportunity that I will be sharing in the coming days. The good news is that it will allow me to stay connected to the lung cancer community while using my talents in new ways that give me an opportunity for continued personal and professional growth.

It has been an incredible honor to work alongside such a dedicated team in service of those at risk for or living with lung cancer around the world.

I am proud of the impact I was able to have as I shaped LUNGevity’s international footprint, from guiding the organization’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic, launching the Lung Cancer Patient Gateways as a one-stop shop of information and resources, creating a new funding mechanism for mid-career investigators, to elevating the flagship International Lung Cancer Survivorship Conference to new heights, with over 50 experts and more than 1100 participants from nearly 60 countries around the world.

Throughout it all, I have been embraced and lifted up by this community and I am grateful to all of you for inspiring me every day. My North Star is that science must be in service of people, and I am thankful for the many opportunities I have been afforded throughout my career to use my time and talents to improve outcomes for those impacted by cancer.

Stay tuned for the next chapter!”
