ECO Chief Executive Elisabetta Zanon about the impact of Europe’s Beating Cancer Plan
European Cancer Organisation (ECO) shared a post on LinkedIn:
“ECO Chief Executive Elisabetta Zanon was in Warsaw last week at the Health and Security Series where she was a featured speaker in the session: ‘Plans for Europe’s Health – should Europe’s Beating Cancer Plan serve as inspiration for developing similar strategies in other areas of medicine?’
Elisabetta emphasised the success of the EU Cancer Plan and what happens when European communities collaborate and mobilise against an unrelenting disease. Discussions highlighted the plan’s prevention targets and policies and the challenges of improving treatment.
