About Kara Magsanoc-Alikpala
Kara Magsanoc-Alikpala is a Broadcast Journalist, Documentary Filmmaker, Impact Producer, and Cancer Patient Advocate. She is a Co-Founder of Storytellers International Inc., a contributing producer to CNN International, ARD German TV, and ARD German Radio, and the the ICANSERVE Foundation, a non-profit organization that helps women with breast cancer, and adviser to the Philippine Alliance of Patient Organizations. She is the founding Co-Chairman of the Cancer Coalition Philippines that lobbied for the passage of the National Integrated Cancer Control Act in 2019.
Kara Magsanoc-Alikpala actively uses social media to amplify her advocacy work, sharing her personal journey, as well as insights on the importance of cancer awareness, patient support, and healthcare policy. Her posts on LinkedIn highlight the impact of cancer on individuals and communities, as well as the progress being made in cancer care and support systems.
